At the time the world’s most ambitious global satellite project, it ambitiously sought to place 102 satellites in geosynchronous orbit, construct six global tracking centers, create a revolutionary mobile phone. This project, the largest privately funded program ever undertaken at the time, led to the invention of Bluetooth.
